SMAI Shoc Tec Junior Curved Kick Shield

Description

Available at MMABOXING, the SMAI Shoc Tec Junior Curved Kick Shield is the ultimate training companion engineered to develop striking power in young martial artists without compromising trainer safety.

Constructed from heavy-duty, rip-proof double-sided vinyl, the SMAI Shoc Tec Junior Curved Kick Shield is built to withstand the demands of regular junior training sessions. Its core is packed with a unique impact-absorbing layered foam structure — the hallmark of SMAI's Shoc Tec range — which dramatically reduces shock transfer to the trainer's arms and body. At 65cm tall, 30cm long, and 12cm wide, the dimensions are purpose-sized for junior athletes to develop proper kicking and striking technique.

Available in Default Title.

Key Features:

Shoc Tec Layered Foam Core – Absorbs and disperses impact energy to protect the trainer and extend the usable life of the pad.
Rip-Proof Double-Sided Vinyl Shell – Heavy-duty outer material resists tearing, scuffing, and premature wear during intense training.
Junior-Specific Dimensions (65cm x 30cm x 12cm) – Sized to match the reach and power output of younger athletes for accurate, safe technique development.
Curved Design – Ergonomic curvature allows the pad to contour naturally to the holder's body, improving stability and reducing strain during drills.
Lightweight Construction – Easy for trainers and coaches to hold and manoeuvre throughout extended junior training sessions.
Home and Gym Ready – Durable enough for commercial martial arts schools yet practical for home training environments.

Whether you are a beginner just stepping onto the mat or a junior competitor sharpening combinations for karate, kickboxing, or Muay Thai, the SMAI Shoc Tec Junior Curved Kick Shield delivers the quality and protection needed to train with confidence at every level.

Pads & shields FAQs

Focus mitts, Thai pads or kick shields: which do I need?

Focus mitts are for fast punching combinations in boxing. Thai pads are longer, strap onto the forearms and take punches, kicks, knees and elbows for Muay Thai and kickboxing. Kick shields are large, heavily padded targets for powerful kicks and are often used in MMA, taekwondo and kids' classes.

Is this sold as a single item or a pair?

The product title and description say whether it's sold as a single item or a pair. Mitts and Thai pads are usually sold in pairs, while kick shields and strike shields are often sold individually. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

How do I clean pads and shields?

Wipe them down after each session with a damp cloth and mild disinfectant, then let them air-dry. Avoid soaking them or drying them in direct heat, as this can damage the leather or vinyl.

Is there a warranty?

Our products are covered against manufacturing defects. Damage from misuse, accidents or normal wear and tear isn't covered. If something arrives faulty, contact us with photos and your order number and we'll sort it out. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
