SMAI Round Boxers Shield - Dual Air Kick Pad

Description

Available at MMABOXING, the SMAI Round Boxers Shield is a dual-sided kick pad and striking target engineered to deliver two distinct impact experiences in one versatile tool.

The shield is constructed with a PU leather outer shell wrapped over high-density PE sponge foam, combining durability with impact absorption. One face features a donut-shaped Shock Tec foam filling with a centre air pocket for a softer, more forgiving strike response, while the reverse uses a fully filled Shock Tec foam insert for a firm, solid target feel. At 38cm in diameter, 15cm in width, and weighing just 1.3kg, it is easy to hold and manoeuvre through any drill.

Available in Default Title.

Key Features:

Dual-Sided Strike Surface – Soft air-pocket side and firm foam-filled side give coaches and training partners the ability to vary impact feedback within a single session.
Shock Tec Foam Technology – Advanced foam construction absorbs and disperses strike force, protecting both the holder and the striker during high-repetition drills.
Centre Air Pocket Design – The donut-shaped foam cavity on the soft side reduces impact harshness, making it ideal for conditioning circuits and technique-focused rounds.
PU Leather Outer Shell – Tough synthetic leather exterior resists scuffing and moisture, maintaining the shield's integrity through extended boxing and martial arts training.
Dual PU-Wrapped Handles – Two sturdy handles on either side allow the holder to present the shield comfortably at multiple angles and heights.
Compact and Lightweight Build – At 1.3kg and 38cm across, the shield is easy to transport and quick to set up for outdoor boot camps or gym conditioning circuits.

Equally suited to beginners learning striking fundamentals and experienced boxers running high-intensity conditioning sessions, the SMAI Round Boxers Shield adapts to every level of boxing and martial arts training.

Pads & shields FAQs

Focus mitts, Thai pads or kick shields: which do I need?

Focus mitts are for fast punching combinations in boxing. Thai pads are longer, strap onto the forearms and take punches, kicks, knees and elbows for Muay Thai and kickboxing. Kick shields are large, heavily padded targets for powerful kicks and are often used in MMA, taekwondo and kids' classes.

Is this sold as a single item or a pair?

The product title and description say whether it's sold as a single item or a pair. Mitts and Thai pads are usually sold in pairs, while kick shields and strike shields are often sold individually. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

How do I clean pads and shields?

Wipe them down after each session with a damp cloth and mild disinfectant, then let them air-dry. Avoid soaking them or drying them in direct heat, as this can damage the leather or vinyl.

Is there a warranty?

Our products are covered against manufacturing defects. Damage from misuse, accidents or normal wear and tear isn't covered. If something arrives faulty, contact us with photos and your order number and we'll sort it out. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
