How do I choose the right size?

Check the sizes in the options above and any size guide in the description or images. Headgear is usually sized by head circumference, measured around your forehead just above the eyebrows. Shin guards are sized by the length from just below the knee to the top of the foot. If you're between sizes, the larger size is usually more comfortable.

Is this approved for competition?

If a product is approved by a governing body (for example WKF approved), it says so in the title or description. Rules differ between organisations and events, so always check with your coach or competition organiser before buying gear for a fight or tournament.

How do I fit a boil-and-bite mouthguard?

Dip the mouthguard in just-boiled water for the time shown in the instructions, let it cool for a few seconds, then place it over your top teeth and bite down firmly while sucking out the air. Hold for around 20 seconds, then rinse in cold water to set. Most can be refitted if the first try isn't right.

How do I clean protective gear?

Wipe it down after each session with a damp cloth and mild disinfectant, then air-dry it out of direct sun and heat. Rinse mouthguards in cold water after use and store them in their case.

What if I order the wrong size?

You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Contact us at info@mmaboxing.com.au with your order number and we'll help you sort out a return or exchange. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one.
